2. How should I store my crystal resonator?

After opening the chip crystal should be stored in a moisture-proof, anti-static environment, avoid storing in high temperature, high humidity, corrosive gases or strong magnetic fields to prevent the crystal performance is affected. It is recommended that the crystal be stored in a dry, well-ventilated anti-static bag or box, and stored within the specified storage temperature range.

 

 

3.What is the piezoelectric effect of passive crystal resonators?

Passive crystal resonators operate based on the piezoelectric effect of quartz. When a certain voltage is applied to the electrodes plated on both sides of the quartz crystal, the quartz will deform due to the piezoelectric effect, thus providing a sinusoidal waveform to the IC, which is then shaped by the IC's internal shaping and PLL circuits to produce a square wave for input to the lower stage circuits.
